Architectural Engineering is the branch of engineering that follow the engineering principles and technologies for building various designs and construction. Architectural engineer are the one who works with different other engineers involved in their related field and architects for the designing and construction of buildings, and infrastructure.

The Bachelor in Architectural Engineering (B.Arch) course of TU (Tribhuvan University) is a 5 years (10 semester course) which is very popular among the students.

Eligibility:

Students should have secured at least the minimum of 'C' Grade in all subjects in Grade 11 and 12(+2) in the system of Letter Grading System. Or,

The students who having minimum score of 45% in I. Sc. or 10+2 (physical group or biological group with two paper mathematics) or diploma in engineering or an equivalent course recognized by TU can appear in the entrance examination conducted by Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering.

Only the students who have passed the entrance examination conducted by IOE are eligible for admission in IOE constituent campuses and affiliated colleges on merit basis.

Job and Career Opportunity:

Architectural engineers are mostly involved in construction of buildings and infrastructure, commercial, historical building conservation, old sites renovation, industrial developments. Architectural engineers mostly deals with the systems within buildings requiring  high level of engineering skills and techniques. They are involved in Building different types of systems, Electrical engineering, Structural engineering and Environmental systems and processes.

They enter in fields like Construction engineer, Project manager, Cost estimator etc.
